Special Programs Institute For Career Excitement

 

The Special Program Institute for Career Excitement was founded in 1996 by Pat Romero, FMP, CHE. SPICE is committed to bringing attention to how we can create a safer home and work environment while increasing your value in the marketplace of various industries.

Aside from the certification training programs, SPICE is proud of their popular Customer Service and Alternative Nutrition Programs. SPICE is presently collaborating on a few books inspired by their commitment to increasing safety in our environment and emotionally connecting to your customer. The Alternative Nutrition curriculum is a customized personal lifestyle that also brings awareness to the toxins and how to remove them from our everyday life, the environment and processed foods. The very popular SPICE Customer Loyalty training is inspired by authors such as Jeffery Gitomer gitomer.com, Zig Ziglar ziglar.com, Kenneth Blanchard trainingabc.com, Daniel Goleman danielgoleman.info. It focuses on developing loyalty to the internal and external customer by emotionally connecting. Pat Romero, FMP, CHE, has spent the past forty years of her life's work focused on client service in the hospitality industry. She has moderated and presented for many trade-schools, associations, corporate clients and universities. Pat has also been active as a fundraiser and director for numerous charitable organizations. Her repertoire of clients include; Whole Foods Market, Universal Studios, Hard Rock Café, Delta Airlines, Windows on the World, NJ Transit, Unilever, Hilton, Coca Cola, Burger King, Houlihan's, the NJ and National Restaurant Association. She has earned a BA and MA from the School of International Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is one of the founding members of the board of World Association of Certified Safe Environments. Pat is an adjunct professor for William Paterson University, Bergen Community College, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Gibbs College and Empire College. She is fully dedicated to inspiring and assisting in the career development of the under-employed and unemployed focusing on the Hospitality, Retail and Healthcare industries.

ServSafe® Certification Package 2

Recommended for - General Managers, Executive Chefs, Kitchen Managers and individuals who want to train employee staff or become certified as a manager instructor or whose jurisdiction requires maximum instruction and learning exposure

  • One day course with classroom instruction presented in either English, Spanish or Portuguese along with Servsafe® films in English or Spanish
  • Comprehensive study guide & notes – emailed prior to the classroom presentation, for additional home preparation and study
  • ServSafe® 6th Edition Textbook used in class on consignment; purchase price - $70.30
  • Student without answer sheet will be charged an additional $38.00.
